<Announcement Regarding Tobias Jesso Jr.'s Performances>

Due to circumstances beyond the artist's control, Tobias Jesso Jr. has
decided to cancel his trip to Japan and his upcoming performances at
Billboard Live TOKYO and Billboard Live Osaka have been cancelled.

Just got off of my first nation-wide tour in the US and Canada. Was such a pleasure meeting fans and seeing new parts of the world. Touring has definitely been the toughest part of my career. I have always seen myself as a songwriter and have a hard time dealing with the live side of my career. At this point, I am going to take some time off the road to work on what I love more than anything, songwriting, which unfortunately is very hard for me to pursue while on tour. I will be canceling the upcoming Australia and Japan tours. Im sorry to let anyone down, and appreciate all of your love, support, and understanding.

この間僕自身初めてのアメリカ、カナダ・ツアーを終え、ファンのみんなに会えたこと、新たな世界を見ることができたことは本当に嬉しかった。

しかし、このツアーは僕のキャリアの中でも最もタフなものになりました。
僕は常に自分のことをソング・ライターだと思っていて、ライブをやりながら作曲活動をするのはとても大変な事だと今回感じました。

そしてツアーを終えた今、作曲活動に時間を費やしたいと考えています。
残念ですが、作曲活動はツアーと並行してやることが難しいと考え、オーストラリアと日本のツアーをキャンセルすることを決めました。
みなさんをガッカリさせてしてまい、ごめんなさい。
