Karla Bonoff, the singer-songwriter who epitomizes the West Coast sound, takes the stage. She began her career in her teens, and it was her appearance at the Los Angeles live venue The Troubadour—where Jackson Browne and James Taylor would come and go—that helped shape her subsequent career. She also shared the stage with Brindle, and around this time she met Kenny Edwards, who would contribute new songs to her new album Carry Me Home, released this February.
