One of the Nordic region’s premier sound producers, Rasmus Faber, leads an anime-jazz cover project, the Platinum Jazz Orchestra, on stage at Billboard Live in the fall to close out its 10th anniversary year. The project that reimagines famous Japanese anime tunes into sumptuous, glamorous sound has drawn a strong response, and the series of cover albums it has released has become widely beloved. From popular tracks to deep-cut numbers that will surprise even anime fans, the program offers a diverse repertoire of anime songs and jazz. This time, the lineup features a special guest: Swedish-born singer-songwriter Maia Hirasawa.
