Miyuki Hatakeyama, who will celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut next year, will stage a release-celebration concert for her first self-produced cover album, Song Book #1. The album, featuring 10 tracks including songs Hatakeyama loves and has sung in live performances, songs she had been nurturing to cover, and a self-cover of one of her signature songs, "Waga Utsukushiki Furusato yo," was created entirely remotely during the COVID-19 era by layering home recordings to shape a longing for music and live performance into something tangible. For this release commemorative live, guitarist Ryūhei Koike (bonobos, LITTLE TEMPO) and pianist Kie Katagi (jizue), who also participated in the album, will join on stage. We invite you to experience Hatakeyama Miyuki’s voice, which speaks to the heart, in a club setting.
