Yanawaraba, a female duo from Ishigaki Island formed by childhood friends Yuu Ishigaki (vocals and sanshin) and Rio Azuma (vocals and guitar), will take the stage. After debuting in 2003 with “Aoi Takara” (Blue Treasure), they drew attention with drama-theme songs such as “Haikei ○○-san” and “Ichigo Ichie,” and their album Utagusui, which includes those tracks, ranked high on the charts. They have delivered harmonies that resonate with listeners’ hearts, unfazed by the times. In March 2019 they announced their disbandment, and with their final live show scheduled for November 23, 2020, don’t miss this precious stage.
