Asia’s songstress Marine, who captivates with superb vocals and positive energy, returns to the Osaka stage for the first time in about two and a half years. She left Manila, Philippines at 19 to come to Japan. Her 1980s albums Deja Vu and Magic both sold over 200,000 copies, and she has been a hugely popular singer. In recent years, she has also been active as a member of the jazz unit “THREE SOME” with Jiro Yoshida and pianist Makoto Kuriya, and with energetic live performances and a seductive voice she has carved out a unique position as a jazz vocalist. We eagerly anticipate what classic songs she will deliver on this latest stage.
