SOIL&"PIMP" SESSIONS, formed in 2001 when musicians who met at a Tokyo club event gathered, have announced their long-awaited Osaka concert.

Centering its activities on live performances, the group combines solid playing with a cool atmosphere while delivering rough, entertaining, high-energy, explosive jazz that can verge on ear-splitting.

Since winning the John Peel Play More Jazz Award at the BBC Radio 1 Worldwide Awards 2005, they have released music overseas and performed at numerous major festivals. To date, they have staged shows in 31 countries, continuing a worldwide activity that has helped push jazz beyond its conventional boundaries.
