Tokyo/Shibuya-origin band ALI, which crossovers Hip Hop with roots music such as funk, soul, jazz, and Latin, makes its first appearance at Billboard Live Osaka.
Their name comes from forming the band on the day Muhammad Ali passed away. In their indie days they drew attention by being selected as a highlight artist for the fashion brand Hermes. In November 2019 they released their 1st CD album, 'ALI'. To commemorate the release, they held their inaugural solo tour, 'Wild Side Tour 2019', in Fukuoka, Osaka, and Tokyo. This November they will debut commercially and release their four-track major-label debut single, 'LOST IN PARADISE feat. AKLO'. With lavish guest appearances across genres, the title track has become the ending theme for the MBS/TBS TV anime 'Jujutsu Kaisen', drawing attention.
Led by vocalist LEO, all members come from roots in Japan, Europe, America, Asia, and Africa, forming ALI—a multinational musical collective. Let yourself be swept away by the group's supreme groove.
