Since the dawn of the Japanese reggae scene, HOME GROWN—the undisputed king of the dancehall band that has underpinned and supported DJs and singers—has announced a live show titled “Good Good Groovin’” at Billboard Live. HOME GROWN was formed in the early 1990s by friends who gathered at the seaside house Oasis in Shonan Hayama. For this stage, on the bill are Spinna B-ILL, a one-of-a-kind singer who can freely convey black music, focusing on reggae and soul, and DOZAN11 (Miki Dōzan), who after debuting on a Jamaican label run by Japanese went on to achieve a million-sale with “Lifetime Respect” and has long been at the forefront of the reggae scene.
