Renowned for her upbeat stage presence, pianist Hiroko Kokufu returns with her new work, "Piano Party." This, her 24th album and the first in five years, is performed by the Hiroko Kokufu Special Trio (Yoichi Yahiro on bass, Tatsuhito Iwase on drums), whose chemistry has earned them praise as an "ironclad trio" and is now in their 23rd year. They groove through classics of classical music and beloved J-POP, giving them a groovy treatment. In addition, Kokufu’s original melodies, known for their melodic craftsmanship, are filled with energetic vitality and soothing warmth. Guest vocalist 露崎春女, who also participates on this album, has been confirmed.
