Shota Watanabe, a young jazz pianist based in Nagoya and Tokyo, will make his Billboard Live debut with his self-led piano trio. Having experienced major stages at a young age, such as Tokyo’s Blue Note, and actively releasing leader albums and collaborating with many artists, Watanabe is buzzing with activity. He is supported by two rising stars who are leading Japan’s jazz scene: Toshiya Wakai (Bass) and Shun Ishiwaka (Drums). Additionally, this time fellow-generation musicians Mei Inoue (Guitar) and MELRAW (Saxophone) will join, making for a truly luxurious stage. Please enjoy a blissful moment enveloped in jazz sound at Billboard Live this autumn.

Furthermore, as the opening DJ, DJ PENNY—who, as a member of the breakdance team Akashi Breakers, has won numerous competitions and is active as a live-support DJ and at dance events nationwide—will appear.
