A special duo live featuring Kazumi Watanabe, one of Japan’s top jazz guitarists who is truly a world-class figure, and Jin Oki, a flamenco guitarist recognized in Spain, has been announced! Watanabe is renowned for weaving enchanting improvisation with lush melodies and precise technique, infusing each note with rich expressiveness and creating his own ＜Kazumi Sound＞. In 2021 he celebrated the 50th anniversary of his recording debut and has continued to be highly active. And Jin Oki, since becoming the first Japanese winner of the Flamenco Guitar International Competition (International Section) held in Spain in 2010, has been focusing on his solo work as well as collaborations with top artists across genres, writing, producing, and composing. We can’t help but look forward to what kind of chemistry will unfold on stage from the music played by two guitars.
