A popular act that fuses Japan and Hawaii, Def Tech, will stage a Billboard Live performance after last year’s 20th anniversary since formation and 15th anniversary since debut. Their 1st album, Def Tech, which includes “My Way,” sold 2.8 million copies as an indie release. Since resuming activities in 2010, they have gained a broad fan base with a sound that has become more powerful and freer. This year, they are drawing attention on “THE FIRST TAKE” while also serving as the official song for NAMINORI JAPAN, Japan’s national surfing team.
