Popular unit Def Tech, known for blending Japan and Hawaii, will hold a Billboard Live performance after celebrating its 20th anniversary since formation and 15th anniversary since debut last year. Their 1st album, Def Tech, which includes “My Way,” sold 2.8 million copies as an indie release. Since resuming activities in 2010, they’ve attracted a broad fan base with a sound that has grown more powerful and freer. This year they’ve drawn attention on THE FIRST TAKE and also served as the official song for NAMINORI JAPAN, the Japan national surfing team.
