As the guitarist of Japan’s representative band TUBE, Michiya Haruhata has decided to launch his solo tour at Billboard Live in February 2022, marking the 35th year since his solo debut. While continuing to work actively as a solo artist alongside the band, this will be the first time he performs a live show with such a simple lineup, and as a first step toward future musical activities, it’s a fresh challenge worth checking out. Supporting him are keyboardist Yusuke Miyazaki, who has long provided support for TUBE; rotating guest guitarist Tetsurō Toyama; and cellist Sonoko Muraoka. With three distinct personalities revolving around the guitar, they will surely showcase the魅力 of instrumental music to the fullest. As the tour title “spring has come” suggests, please look forward to a new “spring” that can only be seen at Billboard Live.
