Ryota Komatsu, a bandoneonist who leads the Japanese tango scene and is highly regarded even in tango’s homeland, Argentina. He has collaborated with artists outside the tango world and has worked on soundtracks for films and TV dramas, and his ambitious activities know no bounds. Now, he returns to the Billboard Live Osaka stage at the helm of the Orquesta Tipica. In the most glamorous and tango-highlighted lineup, this premium night will feature Piazzolla’s compositions, as 2021 marked his 100th birthday and 2022 the 30th anniversary of his death.
