Passepied, a four-piece band that continually updates its unique pop sound, makes their Billboard Live debut. Formed in 2009 around Narita Haneda (keyboard), they drew attention for their outstanding musical theory and technique, and for a pop sensibility that digestively absorbs music from the 70s through the 00s all at once. The vocalist Natsuki Okuda’s music videos and artworks also drew attention. They debuted in 2011 with their first mini-album 'Watashi Kaika Shita wa' (I Have Blossomed), and have performed at numerous major rock festivals. At the end of 2015 they held a solo Nippon Budokan show, and since then have continued to grow their audience with hall tours in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, as well as outdoor concert events. In 2020 they teamed up with Universal Music and launched their own label 'NEHAN RECORDS,' and last year released their seventh full-length album 'Nui.' A band that never stops evolving, their debut-stage performance is not to be missed.
