Elevating the currents of jazz, funk, and world music, and sweeping the 80s mainstream with refined pop, the UK fusion pop/funk band Level 42 makes a long-awaited comeback to Billboard Live. From their formation in 1979, they have evolved their musicality by wielding outstanding instrumental technique as their weapon, and their signature songs “Something About You” and “Lessons In Love” became huge hits not only in Britain but also in the United States, leaving a significant mark on pop/rock history from the 80s onward. Since then, after disbanding and reforming, they have continued to tour vigorously to this day. Their dazzling live show, highlighted by Mark King’s slap bass, is a must-see.
