Overview
Since arriving in Japan from Manila, Philippines at the age of 19, singer Marlene, who has led Japan’s jazz and fusion scene with powerhouse vocals and hits like “It’s Magic,” will take the stage with her latest album, released on July 20 this year! Produced by world-class guitarist Jiro Yoshida, the album features covers spanning various genres, including an English-lyrics cover of Pinky & the Killers’ representative tune “Koi no Kisetsu” (Season of Love) and, for the first time in her career, a Japanese-language cover of Miyuki Nakajima’s “Ito.” The collection, titled “MARLENE’S SONG BOOK ~MEMORIES FOR TOMORROW~,” promises a luxurious live experience you won’t want to miss.
