Kyoko, who has continued to lead the Japan rock scene alongside BARBEE BOYS and Fukumi (福耳), marks the 30th anniversary of her solo debut on stage again this year. After the BARBEE BOYS disbanded in 1992, she made her solo debut with the single “DISTANCIA ～ This Heart’s Promise ～.” Since then, in addition to her activities as an artist, she has been active across radio, television, and other media, and in August this year released the 30th-anniversary digital single “30minutes.” Her one-woman show at Billboard Live will be her third, following 2020 and 2021. “I want to treat this (the 30th anniversary) as a wonderful milestone and push forward with an even more rock edge,” says the pioneering female rocker in her latest stage.
