Bread & Butter, the folk duo that has long led the Shonan sound as a representative act, will appear at Billboard Live in the spring. Since their debut in 1969, they have released high-quality pop tunes that have been passed down across generations, including “Ano Koro no Mama” (Just as It Was Back Then), “Hotel Pacific,” “Shonan Girl,” “Pink Shadow,” “Marie,” and “Wild Horses,” captivating listeners with their comforting vocals and harmonies. After going on hiatus in December 2015 to pursue solo projects, they reassembled in 2019 to mark their 50th anniversary. In this show, as “Shonan Friends,” they will collaborate with a stellar lineup that includes Yuji Toriyama, Chiharu Mikuzuki, and Tomoharu Tanaka. It is sure to be a premium, consummate performance.
