Since her debut in 1980, EPO has colored the city pop and J-pop scenes with hits like “Saturday Night is Paradise” and “U, fu, fu, fu.” Beyond reaching her 40th anniversary, she continues to craft even more refined music and presents songs that are at the very heart of the recently renewed attention on “city pop,” as well as its evolved form—“EPO’s Pop of 2023.” This will be delivered together with the indispensable city-pop sound of the rock band Sentimental City Romance, trombonist Satoshi Sano, and guitarist Yoshiyuki Sahashi. Look forward to two special days: the ever-popular Osaka show and the Yokohama show on EPO’s birthday.
