Priscilla Ahn, the singer-songwriter whose ethereal, angelic voice has captivated audiences, makes her comeback seven years later with a new release. The track “Dream” from her debut album Good Day, released on Blue Note Records in 2008, was in heavy rotation on FM stations nationwide in Japan, becoming a smash hit. Since then, she has continued to influence the scene with delicate, lyrical melodies and a unique world that blends innocence. Her voice has drawn attention for lending vocals to soundtracks for films such as the Academy Award-nominated Studio Ghibli film When Marnie Was There, as well as Pacific Rim and La La Land. In 2021, she released her original song “WAITING” and a Japanese-language cover of Tatsuro Yamashita’s “RIDE ON TIME,” issued digitally and on vinyl.
