Overview
With overwhelming vocal power, gospel singer TiA, based in New York and Japan, takes the stage. After making her major debut in 2004 with the single "Every Time," she won the 19th Japan Gold Disc Award 2005 "New Artist of the Year" for her first album "humming." In 2014, when she moved her base of activities to New York, she achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first Japanese winner at the United States' largest gospel competition; The New York Times ran a front-page feature on her, and Courrier Japon selected her for a feature titled "Six Japanese People Recognized by the World," quickly making her name known. In recent years, aiming to revolutionize Japan's gospel scene, she drew attention for winning TV Tokyo's "THE Karaoke Battle" twice. Now a mother of two, this concert, her first since giving birth, will lavishly deliver gospel numbers at their fullest with a choir arrangement. Furthermore, the Osaka performance will feature a guest appearance by Shinji Takeda. Experience that voice recognized in genuine America and the allure of gospel music in an intimate space for a premium night.
