Liv, a Dallas-born rising neo-soul artist based in LA, makes her Billboard Live debut. She grew up in a musician’s family and studied art and music at the prestigious Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts—where Erykah Badu and Norah Jones studied—and at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2018 she released the EP Hoopdreams, followed by her debut album Couldn’t Wait to Tell You in 2020, drawing attention from the scene as a leading icon of the new generation. Not only as a space for musical expression, but also cherished as a fashion icon for her superb sense, every move she makes draws intense attention.
