The versatile artist Takeshi Satō and the Osaka-based R&B band Neighbors Complain are set to perform together. Satō debuted in 1988 as the vocalist of Sing Like Talking, and later began a full-fledged solo career. He has earned high acclaim for work such as releases in the unit PLUS ONE with Kazumasa Oda, as well as annual year-end tours centered on Christmas songs with a jazz trio; he has also contributed songs and produced for others. This year, Sing Like Talking is celebrating its 35th anniversary since debut with live performances, and their momentum shows no signs of slowing.

Neighbors Complain, the act joining him on stage, is an Osaka-based R&B band. Rooted in black music, they enthrall listeners with a groove that blends each member’s individuality into a unified sound, and they have even appeared as the representative Japanese artist at the world-renowned festival JAVA JAZZ FES.2018. In 2022 they launched a new project with singer-songwriter K, and have been generating buzz, with an album released in January this year.
