Overview
Bridget St. John, whose talent was quickly spotted by the legendary British DJ John Peel, made her debut in 1969 with the album "Ask Me No Questions" and has since held the title "Queen of the Acid Folk" to this day. Not only the artists of her own generation—Kevin Ayers, Mike Oldfield, John Martin, Michael Chapman—but also Eliza Randazzo, Devendra Banhart, Taku Hayashi, Flo Morrissey, and other 21st-century figures place immense trust and high regard in her. She is now a standout presence as a universal artist whose work transcends genres, captivating listeners.
For this performance, she will be joined by Ichiko Aoba, who sings and plays classical guitar. Her fantastical world, drawn with language and a mystical presence, creates a unique, one-of-a-kind universe that transcends borders and enchants music fans around the world. This concert, in itself, is an event, and for everyone lucky enough to be there, it will undoubtedly be nothing short of a miracle.
