Matt Johnson, the longtime Jamiroquai keyboardist who helped lead the acid jazz movement and enjoyed immense popularity, makes his Billboard Live debut, bringing with him a cadre of seasoned musicians including fellow Jamiroquai member Derrick McKenzie.

He began his career centered on London’s soul music scene, and after joining Jamiroquai, his dazzling keyboard playing has not only been a cornerstone of the live performances, but he has also made substantial contributions as a composer.

In 2020, he released his long-awaited solo album, “With The Music,” featuring stellar guests such as Bluey from Incognito. The groovy, mellow sound generated considerable buzz.

Together, the group’s high-energy performances—driven by genre-defying dance tunes and the vibrant personalities of the musicians—are sure to be a highlight of your summer.
