Regarded as a master of fingerstyle playing and one of the world's top acoustic guitarists, he was born into a musical family in Australia and began playing with professional musicians from the age of four.

2000年のシドニー・オリンピック開会式でも演奏を披露し、グラミー賞には2度ノミネートされるなど、そのレジェンダリーな音楽家としての歩みは留まることを知らない。
He performed at the opening ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympics and has been nominated for the Grammy Awards twice, a testament to his enduring, legendary career.
