Acoustic guitarist Kotaro Oshio, who celebrated his 20th major-debut anniversary last year, will appear at Billboard Live Tokyo and Billboard Live Osaka. Since his debut, he has earned high praise worldwide, including appearances at Switzerland’s Montreux Jazz Festival and solo tours across Asia. Harnessing techniques such as open tuning and tapping, his performances—made with a single guitar—have long captivated audiences with their power and intensity. He has also broadened his range by composing film scores and commercial music, and in 2022 released his latest album, “My Guitar, My Life.” In this concert, he plans to present different premium performances on each set, featuring pieces that color the seasons. After twenty years, enjoy his enchantingly mature guitar playing.
