The UK music scene, which has drawn worldwide attention and is emblematic of the movement, is represented by the Total Refreshment Centre. The music event Church of Sound is held twice a month at a church in East London. A collaboration between Temple of Sound, which brings this prestigious event to Japan, and Billboard Live has come to fruition. From the UK, Soccer96—the backbone unit behind The Comet Is Coming, widely hailed as the “king” of the new generation UK jazz and who performed at 【FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'19】. Ghost in the Tapes, who continually explores a traditional lineage while forging their own unique sound using samplers, will perform. From Japan, the rapidly rising singer-songwriter and trackmaker ermhoi, and Julia Shortreed, who is also active as Black Boboi, will join to create a stage of cross-cultural musical creation.
