Tomita Lab, the musician and music producer Keiichi Tomita, will hold a Billboard Live concert to close out its 20th anniversary year. As a music producer, he is a pop maestro who provides and produces songs for Japan’s leading artists, earning overwhelming support from discerning music fans across the music industry. The limited three-LP analog edition of the June release “Tomita Lab / Keiichi Tomita WORKS BEST 2 ~beautiful songs to remember~” has also been decided, and it will be released as a participating work for Record Day 2023 on November 3.

This time, stepping out from the familiar Tomita Lab Studio, we will publicly reveal a new-song recording in front of everyone. By presenting Tomita Lab’s production process—normally conducted in a closed space—from a blank, zero state and letting each improvised sound layer on top of the previous one, you can experience live how music comes together, offering a contact with music that differs from everyday life. Don’t miss the moment when recording proves itself to be entertainment.
