With a distinctive, cutting-edge sound where a wide range of musical sensibilities intersect, the experimental soul band WONK—already drawing attention both in Japan and abroad—returns to Billboard Live Osaka. Each member is a versatile musician active in the fields of soul, jazz, hip-hop, and rock, functioning as players/producers/engineers. Since releasing their 1st album in 2016, they’ve performed at top domestic music festivals and overseas tours; their breadth of musicality and high skill have been recognized from many angles, including providing songs, remixes, and performing with big domestic and international artists across genres and generations.
