Guitar duo Yamagen, formed by Hirokazu Ogura and Yasuyuki Sahashi, will hold an autumn analog-best release tour. The group name derives from the idea of “playing string instruments that are mountain-like.” Since their formation in 1991, they have captivated listeners with their sound, not only playing various guitars but also banjo and mandolin, as well as Irish bouzouki and autoharp. In 2021 they celebrated their 30th anniversary and released, for the first time in 17 years, the album TOKYO MUNCH. Last year they also staged the tour Yamagen 30-sai at Billboard Live here, a memory still fresh. In April this year they released a two-disc analog best-of, and this tour will be a premium stage where you can thoroughly enjoy a generous amount of the duo’s original songs.
