Salyu, whose unique voice—imbued with wavering and resonance—has continually delivered memorable performances, makes her appearance. Since debuting in 2004 under the name Salyu, she has explored new expressions through live performances in various ensembles and collaborations, continuing to push beyond conventions. This year as well, she keeps creating and releasing a wealth of works without stopping. For this autumn’s stage, she will join forces with pianist Kazuha Izawa, whose world view centered on rock and jazz continues to captivate many fans and musicians, to create an emotionally rich space where the nuanced sounds of the instruments and her voice weave together.
