Japan's premier guitarist Yūji Toriyama, together with his longtime ally, drummer Akira Jinbo, and pianist Hirotaka Izumi, formed the crossover group PYRAMID. Bandmates since high school, the three have been at the forefront of the scene as composers/producers/musicians since the 1980s. They were formed in 2003, and even after Izumi’s sudden passing in 2021, the group has continued with the two remaining members. In 2022 they completed the album PYRAMID 5, featuring illustrious guests Miho Fukuhara, Kan Sano, and mabanua, and their release live at Billboard Live was a great success. This time, a solo concert recreating PYRAMID’s ultimate space, “PYRAMID CITY JAM,” created together with the fans’ voices. Enjoy a luxurious autumn moment.
