Mii mie, who marks 43 years since her solo debut, presents “Pink Lady Night,” an annual event she has held since 2010. This is a special live performance of Pink Lady songs arranged by Daisaku Kume, performed with a large wagakki-centered band led by Kiyohiko Senba. This time, the New Year’s performance, now in its 15th year, will deliver plenty of Pink Lady hits in whimsically imaginative arrangements. After the group’s summer 2023 success with a show titled “Ura Pink Lady Night,” they are sure to deliver an even more fulfilling stage. The rhythms of the percussion and the sound of bells are said to be highly effective at warding off evil spirits, making them perfect for New Year’s good-luck charms and warding off misfortune. Also, pay attention to the kimono and hair/makeup designed by world-renowned hair and makeup artist Keiki Shichijō!
