Takuro Ohno, who earned high praise from major theater critics including The Guardian for his stage-musical performances in Britain, makes his first appearance at Billboard Live Osaka. In 2009, he entered the entertainment world after being selected as the 25th Mr. Rikkyo. He made his acting debut in the film Incite Mill: Seven Days of Death and also served as MC on NHK Educational TV's Let's Tensai Terebi-kun. After that, he studied languages and spent an extended period in the United States, including life in lockdown in New York. After returning to Japan, he appeared in the Broadway musical The Producers, and, as part of a Japan–UK co-production, was handpicked for a UK cast role as Koyama Yazaemon in the musical Pacific Overtures (Japanese title: Taiheiyō Jokyō), expanding his activities onto the world stage. Furthermore, for this performance, guest participation by gravure legend Ai Shinozaki, known as “the goddess of Asia,” has been confirmed. As her YouTube view counts show, her singing voice captivates many.
