Taking the stage as the horn section of KomeKome Club, BIG HORNS BEE is a brass band that continues to be active in a variety of scenes—not only in their own live performances, but also in artist support and studio recordings. In 2021 they provided the music for NHK’s morning drama Come Come Everybody, and more recently contributed the music for the drama Kotatsu ga Nai Ie, drawing attention. This time they join forces with a legendary guitarist whom BHB has long admired, Junji Yamagishi, on stage. Yamagishi is a figure in New Orleans who’s regarded as a legend there, delivering a funky, bluesy session. In true New Orleans fashion, no matter what music they play, it’s fun. With the familiar KenKen (bass) and Fuyu (drums) on board, it’s guaranteed to be a super session!
