Anly, a one-of-a-kind singer-songwriter from Okinawa who exudes a distinctive aura and is energetically active not only in Japan but also overseas, makes her Billboard Live debut. In 2014, she drew attention by being chosen as the front act for miwa’s nationwide tour in Okinawa, and in 2015 she released her first band recording, “Bye-Bye.” In the same year, she made her major debut with the single “Laugh at the Sun.” Her music blends English and Japanese lyrics and a variety of genres, with a keen sense of fusion; she performs solo using a loop pedal, in a band arrangement, or as an acoustic guitar-and-vocal act, tailoring her performance style to the event or venue.
