In 2023, as Japan’s pride, jazz pianist Makoto Ozone — who is celebrating the 40th anniversary of his debut — leads the newly formed trio “Trinfinity (トリンフィニティ)” and makes an appearance at Billboard Live Osaka. The members invited for this performance are bassist Shinpei Ogawa and drummer Kitai Kuni, both part of the next-generation young musicians project “From OZONE till Dawn” spearheaded by Ozone and actor Misuzu Kaminō, and trumpeter Hidetarō Matsui. With Matsui joining the new trio, after countless shared stages and deep trust, you can feel a chemistry that hints at infinite possibilities.
