Avishai Cohen, an Israeli-rooted jazz bassist, singer, and composer, makes his Osaka debut at Billboard Live Osaka! His demo tape caught Chick Corea’s eye, and he has been active for more than six years as a member of Corea’s band. At the 2023 Montreal Jazz Festival, Avishai Cohen was honored with the Miles Davis Award, confirming his indispensable presence in the jazz world. He will join pianist and composer Guy Moskovich, who has established a solid position in both Israel and New York, and the 2000-born young prodigy Roni Kaspi, a remarkable female drummer, for a one-of-a-kind performance you won’t want to miss.
