We are presenting a special session stage featuring chay, a singer-songwriter whose lyrics resonate with many listeners on a relatable level, and Satoshi Takebe, a composer-arranger and music producer. From early childhood she aspired to be a singer and began composing songs on the piano as an elementary school student; when she entered university, she started playing the guitar, and after performing in street concerts and other activities, she made her CD debut in 2012. Her February 2015 release, “Anata ni Koi o Shite Mimashita,” was selected as the theme song for a drama. Beyond her music career, she has also worked as a fashion model and made her acting debut in the film “Dance with Me,” among other activities.

Satoshi Takebe, who will share the stage with her, is a keyboardist, arranger, and music producer who has worked with numerous artists, and since 1983 has served as the music director for Yumi Matsutoya’s concert tours. He has produced for Yo Hitoto, Miki Imai, Yuzu, Ken Hirai, JUJU, and also composed the music for Studio Ghibli’s Kokurikozaka kara (From Up on Poppy Hill). Recently, he has expanded his activities by handling the music for the film “The First Slam Dunk” and serving as music director for “Yuzuru Hanyu ICE STORY 2023 ‘GIFT’,” among other endeavors. The harmonies of these two multi-talented artists will create a premium session stage—be sure to enjoy it up close.
