SKYE is a special band formed when Masataka Matsutoya joined the legendary lineup of Shigeru Suzuki (guitar), Rei Obara (bass), and Tatsuo Hayashi (drums), which had been leading Japan’s rock and pop scene.

They re-launched in 2019, released their first album in 2021, and in 2022 achieved their first-ever solo tour. After nearly a year of work on the long-awaited second album, this concert will serve as the record-release tour, with many new songs performed. A horn section featuring Hikari Ichihara (tp), Kaori Kobayashi (sax), and Itsumi Komano (tb) has also been confirmed as supporting musicians.

Additionally, in July the much-anticipated second original album will be released, heightening expectations for the track selection. Fully savor the legendary artists’ overwhelming performance and expressiveness.
