Last year marked Wao Yoka’s 35th anniversary in show business, and she—who has been active not only in Japan but overseas—will return to the Billboard Live Osaka stage for the first time in about five years! In her Takarazuka days, in her second year with the troupe, she was chosen for the role of Oscar in the new production The Rose of Versailles: André and Oscar Edition. In 2001, she delivered a passionate performance as Fersen in The Rose of Versailles: Fersen and Marie Antoinette Edition. This May and June she appeared in The Rose of Versailles 50, and as the top star of the Takarazuka Cosmos Troupe, she set the record for the longest tenure as a top star since the Heisei era. Even after leaving the troupe, she has continued to showcase her talent across Broadway musicals, concert tours, film, and television, spanning many genres. This stage will be a special moment to revel in the songs that color her journey and in her stunning vocal power. We invite you to enjoy it to the fullest in the intimate club setting.
