Chihiro Yamanaka, a jazz pianist based in New York, is a top graduate of the Berklee College of Music in the United States, and since her 2001 debut with Living Without Friday she has consistently topped the jazz charts. Last year, she released the album Dolce Vita as a tribute to Wayne Shorter, and she returns on stage now as the “New York Trio,” formed by the members who created that album.
