The Verbs were formed in 2004 by legendary drummer and producer Steve Jordan, and Megan Voss, a singer–songwriter and founder of American girl-band pioneers The Pop-Tarts and The Antoinettes, who were regulars at New York’s famous CBGB’s. It was also a hot topic that Tamio Okuda joined as a full member in 2010, and they have decided to mount a Japan tour including three Billboard Live venues!

The band has released three albums to date on Jay-Vee Records, with the debut And Now The Verbs released by JVC Japan, and the following two albums Trip and Cover Story released in collaboration with Sony Music Japan. Notable musicians such as Danny Coachmar, Pino Palladino, and Willie Weeks have participated, delivering a diverse range of music, but this time Chris Bruce will appear on bass for the Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Hiroshima performances, and Willie Weeks will appear on bass for the Yokohama show. They also plan to perform new songs from the upcoming album GARAGE SALE! Look forward to the versatile performances woven from each musician’s individual style.
