Disco & funk duo Tuxedo, formed by Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One, is coming to Billboard Live to celebrate the New Year. Formed by the retro-modern soul singer Mayer Hawthorne and producer Jake One, who in recent years has also worked on tracks for The Weeknd and Future, they have grown into a West Coast–leading act. In 2019, they released their third album, Tuxedo III, featuring guest appearances by Dâm-Funk, MF DOOM, Benny Sings, and others, which became a major topic among music fans. The night in which they translate their reverence for funk, disco, and 80s music into a happy, danceable live performance will be a dizzying, uplifting moment, perfect to start the New Year.
