Asia, the progressive rock legend born in Britain, has announced that their latest tour, "ASIA Heat of the Moment Tour," under the direction of original member Geoff Downes, will be held at Billboard Live! The supergroup, formed by musicians who had already established solid reputations as members of Yes and King Crimson, drew huge attention, and their self-titled first album released became the best-selling album of 1982, topping Billboard for nine consecutive weeks. Since then they have continued to shine brilliantly, but original member John Wetton passed away in 2017. A memorial performance held in the summer of 2023 to celebrate his life became the catalyst for restarting Asia with Virgil Donati on drums, John Mitchell on guitar, and Harry Whitley on vocals and bass, as the new Asia.
