Wyolica, the music duo formed by Azumi (Vo) from Sapporo, Hokkaido, and so-to (Gt) from Osaka, will launch a Tokyo-Osaka Billboard Live Tour to close out their 25th anniversary year. They debuted in May 1999 with the single “Sad Selfishness,” produced by Shinichi Osawa, and, rooted in black music, have captivated many fans with a refreshing, bittersweet sound that blends poignant lyrics, sophisticated sensibilities, and a pop vibe. Last year they reached the milestone of their 25th anniversary and released a new song for the first time in five years, “Swaying in the Metro.” Since then, their Billboard Live performances have continued to be successful, leaving fresh memories in fans’ minds.
